About this version
Alan Nicolas’s Rabisco build streams the classic Vice City game data into a modified reVC Web engine. Start from its browser launcher, use the game’s own New Game menu, and keep progress in the same browser.

Explore Vice City
Tommy Vercetti arrives in a fictional 1980s coastal city and works his way through jobs for its criminal factions. Driving ties the original game together: each contact, chase and mission sends you through streets filled with traffic, pedestrians and opportunities to take a detour.
The appeal is the space between those assignments as well as the story. You can try another vehicle, learn a route across town or explore the waterfront before returning to the next objective. Rabisco’s playable runtime uses the classic game; its separate model library is a different experience.

Rabisco and reVC Web
Rabisco is Alan Nicolas’s modified browser build of Origami’s reVC Web, which itself adapts the community reVC engine. The creator describes changes to file access, audio, streaming and controller handling. These are changes to that existing engine lineage, not a separate recreation of Vice City.
The practical difference from the upstream wasm.ltd launcher is where the game data comes from. Rabisco streams the classic assets from its host, so you can start without finding an installed PC folder. The upstream reVC Web version remains an alternative for players who want to select their own classic PC installation.
The Game Library option is a separate Three.js viewer using Definitive Edition models. Choose Jogar Vice City for the playable classic engine; the model viewer does not start a mission or replace the game.

Start without supplying files
Choose Jogar Vice City in the Portuguese launcher and allow the initial preparation to finish. When the game’s own menu appears, select Start Game, then New Game. Enter confirms menu selections; the opening scenes lead into the city.
There is no local installation or archive to select in this route. The engine and assets still travel over the network, so a browser launch does not mean zero downloading. Allow time for first loading and for assets needed as you move through the world.

Keyboard and other input
Start with a desktop keyboard: WASD moves Tommy, F enters or leaves a vehicle, Enter confirms a menu selection and Escape pauses. Keep focus on the game when using these keys. The launcher has a controls reference alongside its start action.
The creator also documents touch and gamepad work. Those paths depend on the device and browser; the desktop keyboard route is the straightforward starting point. Treat the creator’s frame-rate target as a target, rather than a guarantee for every device or scene.

Keep progress in the same browser
Rabisco’s save help describes local progress tied to the browser, profile and site. It does not offer an account-based cloud save that follows you to another computer or phone. Use the game’s save system before leaving, then return with the same browser profile.
Clearing site data can remove progress, and private browsing is unsuitable for keeping a continuing game. A save on another Vice City host is a separate store; opening the own-files reVC Web alternative does not automatically bring over this session.
Before you play
Do I need the original game files?
You do not need to select or upload game files. This host streams the classic game data into your browser; loading still uses your connection and browser storage.
Creator-reported · Project guideHow do I get started?
Choose Jogar Vice City, wait for the game menu, then choose Start Game → New Game. Press Enter to confirm menu selections.
- Open the Rabisco launcher and choose Jogar Vice City.
- Wait for the game’s own menu, then select Start Game → New Game with Enter.
- Use WASD to move and Escape to pause.
Which devices and browsers work?
Start with a desktop browser and keyboard. The creator also documents touch controls and gamepad input, with device-dependent performance.
Creator-reported · Project guideWhat are the controls?
Use WASD to move, F to enter or leave vehicles, Enter to confirm menu selections and Escape to pause. The launcher includes a controls reference. The creator also documents gamepad input.
Creator-reported · Project guideHow do saves work?
Progress stays in the same browser, profile and site storage. There is no account or cloud-save sync; clearing site data or using a temporary private session can lose that progress.
Creator-reported · Project guideWhat should I know before playing?
Initial loading and later asset streaming depend on your connection. The separate Game Library is a model viewer, not the playable game. Browser-local progress does not follow you to another device.
