The Zombies side of Black Ops
The original Call of Duty: Black Ops offers Zombies as a separate attraction alongside its covert-operations campaign and competitive multiplayer. Activision describes that mode as playable alone or cooperatively. Its appeal is a repeatable fight against zombies, rather than progressing through the campaign's story missions.
That original-game context is distinct from vel.gg's browser project. This launch is focused on Zombies, and its own setup choices determine the session you are preparing.

Choose a mode and a weapon set
The setup menu offers Single Player and Multiplayer. The Multiplayer description says you create a lobby and invite friends. A separate Guns choice changes more than the weapon names: Classic uses the original Black Ops guns, while Counter-Strike is described as bringing Counter-Strike 2 guns, recoil and movement.
The weapon choice also changes familiar keys: Classic uses F to interact and Shift to sprint, while Counter-Strike uses E to interact and Shift to walk. Pick the rules before choosing a map; Back returns to the setup if you want to change them.

Set up the session before choosing a map
Enter a player name of up to sixteen characters, then choose graphics. High uses shadows and full resolution. Low removes shadows and reduces resolution; the creator presents it as the smoother option for slower computers.
The current Mission Select screen presents Kino der Toten and Five. Choose from this host's displayed maps after setting the mode and guns. For a group session, use this project's lobby invitation rather than opening a different Zombies host.

How do I get started?
Choose Single player or Multiplayer, Classic or Counter-Strike guns, and High or Low graphics before selecting Choose map. Multiplayer has its own lobby and invitation flow.

Default keyboard and mouse controls: WASD moves, the mouse looks, left click fires, R reloads, Space jumps and Esc opens the menu. With Classic guns, F interacts, right click aims, C toggles crouch and Shift sprints. Counter-Strike guns change interaction to E, crouch to held Ctrl, Shift to walk and right click to secondary attack. Custom key bindings can differ.
