Move by reversing gravity
VVVVVV replaces the usual jump with a reversal of gravity. Walk along a floor, flip toward the ceiling and time the next crossing around spikes and other hazards. The challenge comes from choosing when to switch surfaces rather than building a set of extra movement abilities.
Make and Play means player levels
The creator’s free Make and Play edition includes player levels and tools for making new ones. It excludes Terry Cavanagh’s original retail levels. midzer’s browser port opens this edition, so its Levels menu is the route into play.
The bundled list includes 333333 (Easy Mode), A New Dimension, Golden Spiral and other community creations. Each level has its own author and layout. Start with an easier entry to learn the movement before choosing a more demanding one.

Choose a bundled level
Select Click here to load and allow the roughly 64 MB initial load to finish. Click inside the game, press an action key at the title, then select Levels and Play a level.
Choose 333333 (Easy Mode) for a concrete first route. Advance its opening message with the action key, then use Left and Right to walk. Press Space, Z or V to flip away from the surface you are standing on.
One action, several keys
The title identifies Space, Z and V as equivalent action keys. Use one consistently for confirmations, dialogue and gravity reversal. Left and Right control movement; Up and Down navigate lists.
Escape opens the in-game pause choices or returns through menus. Keep focus on the game after clicking elsewhere in the page so movement keys reach it.
Campaign and editing boundaries
The separately sold retail game includes the original campaign. Buying it does not add that campaign to this Make and Play browser listing, and it is not required to start the bundled community levels.
The menu also offers a level editor and level-folder commands. The host does not document a browser file-import or export workflow for those commands. Choose a bundled level for the straightforward first session; treat desktop folder instructions as a separate setup problem.
