About this version

Supermedo describes execution of the game’s x86-64 code with translated graphics. This is listed as a native compatibility port rather than repeating the discovery feed’s static-recompilation label.

The original hunt through Yharnam

Bloodborne is an action RPG built around exploring a hostile gothic city and responding quickly to aggressive enemies. Its weapons include firearms and close-range weapons such as the saw cleaver, while the Chalice Dungeons provide another network of underground challenges. The draw is learning how to survive encounters while uncovering the world around them. This describes the PlayStation game; the Windows project has its own technical and online limitations.

What this Windows project supplies

Supermedo’s version runs the original PS4 x86-64 code natively and translates graphics to Vulkan. Its launcher gathers resolution, frame cap, effects, controls and mod settings in one place. It builds on bbport and shadPS4 work, and remains an unofficial compatibility project rather than a Sony PC release.

Graphics choices include native-resolution antialiasing and supported upscaling options, while control settings offer remappable keyboard/mouse input alongside a controller. Insert or L3 + R3 opens the in-game settings. The launcher can apply mods and third-party patches without changing the source game files.

Your dump and update version matter

Supply your own decrypted CUSA03173 dump and select the folder containing eboot.bin. Version 1.09 is required for the documented community frame-rate, resolution and effects patches; other game versions run at 30 frames per second. The download supplies the compatibility program, not Bloodborne’s assets.

The Old Hunters depends on your own game and add-on data. The documented Game of the Year dump already includes it, while a base-game dump uses a separately selected DLC folder. Follow that distinction instead of assuming that an effects or frame-rate patch adds expansion ownership.

Online play and performance need care

Online functionality is a beta using community services. Players need version 1.09 and the same co-op server; the README describes messages, bloodstains, ghosts and bell summons while explicitly disabling a different community co-op pool until compatible. This is separate from the original PlayStation online service.

Windows 10/11, AVX-capable hardware and Vulkan 1.3 are required. Some AMD cards can still crash when loading the world, and older supported Intel processors use best-effort instruction translation. Keep the frame cap at 120 or lower as advised by the maintainer; higher timing has not been checked throughout the game.
